LG 47LM6700 Sale Price & Review: I have been eyeing these new LG 47LM6700 tv’s since they were announced. I really liked the looks of them as they are very slim.
Now that I have it I couldn’t be much happier. The picture is great. I have it just on the normal settings right now. I’m waiting on someone to release good picture settings. I have done everything from watching cable tv on this to playing the PS3.
The pictures while watching cable tv on this is good. Nice colors and looks good while watching sports. That is what I have done on it the most since it’s March Madness time.
Played some PS3 on it this past weekend. Set the tv to “Game Mode” and there was no lag at all. Played MLB The Show 12 on it and things were great. Even played the game in 3D and it had a great picture.
Watched Transformers 3 in 3D last night. Really liked the depth of the 3D. I come from a Samsung Active set and I really can’t tell any difference in the picture. I really like the lightweight glasses that came with the tv and I’m glad that I can now have people over and not spend a fortune on more glasses.
For people that like to have a great set up for movies, tv shows, pictures, and music this tv has it. It has a built-in app called Medialink. If your familiar with Plex that is pretty much what it is. You can set up all of your movies, tv shows, pics, and music on your computer and stream them to your new LG tv to Medialink and watch everything in any format pretty much. I set this up last night and I can’t be any happier. Very easy to do and user friendly. If you don’t know much about this go to Plex website and check out the forums.
The only thing that i don’t like so far is the Magic Remote. It works 100% so if your’s doesn’t then ask for a replacement remote. I rarely use mine as I have a Harmony Remote. I don’t care for it b/c it has the pointer, etc. Would have rather just had a normal remote.

Review:
I got the 55LM6700 a couple of days ago at Fry’s for $999. Good deal I think.
I’m not a crazy techie, but here are my amateur thoughts..
1.The passive 3d is really awesome. way better than I expected.
2. There is color/edge burn that’s noticable when I turn on the TV, but it seems to go away and not be an issue when I’m watching just about anything. It’s a slight greenish color. Seems rather amateurish to ship such a nice TV with that glow, but it’s not nearly bad enough to where I’d return the TV
3. The picture really is fantastic and the “professional picture setup” tool or whatever its called was nice to go through.
4. Here’s a really annoying but fixable issue. The USB ports on the back ONLY support NTFS and FAT32 files systems. That sucks if you’re a mac user like me. If you plan on playing movies, you’re stuck using NTFS (FAT32 has a max file size of 4gb.) If you have a Mac, like most of us, you’re USB HDD or USB stick is likely formatted for Mac, furthermore Mac’s do NOT natively support writing to NTFS devices. I tried several workarounds until I found the solution. There is a program you can buy (free 15 day trial to make sure it works) called Tuxera NTFS. Download/install this and it will allow you to reformat your USB stick drive (using Disk Utility) as NTFS-Tuxera. Now using your mac, you can transfer files onto the stick, and the TV will play it just fine (I just tested it on an 7gb .mkv file). Btw, I tried several freeware mac-ntfs solutions and none of them worked (I’m using Mac 10.7x btw).
5. The Built in Youtube really sucks. There is a major sync issue between the audio and video. Also, the youtube app froze up and forced me to restart the TV several times.
6. The remote / nintendo Wii knock-off is OK. I think most people will want to get a new remote, but it’s not that bad. Not that good either.
7. Did I mention the TV looks really awesome? Both aesthetically and the picture itself are gorgeous.
8. The 3d glasses are actually really comfortable and very light. You could easily watch back to back to back 3d movies with these babies before you’d get tired of having the glasses on.
9. Despite the issues listed above, I’m genuinely happy with the TV. I do hope they update the software and firmware, but those issues are quite minor compared to how much I enjoy the parts that really matter.

iPad3 Wifi 32GB White 2012 Price & Review : So after playing with the “new iPad, I have come to several realizations. The new “Retina Display” is just a marketing hype and if you have the iPad 2, there is no point in wasting $500+ for the new iPad. However, if you are the owner of an original iPad, the choice is yours and no one will blame you for buying it…LOL. I tried the “iphoto” app and was seriously impressed, I mean you could do basically anything on it, from making good pictures better, and better into the best! Sorry for getting backtracked, the “Retina Display”, is really good, but if you are watching videos you wont really see a difference.
Now for the new 5MP “isight” camera, it is much much better than the crappy camera on the iPad 2, but seriously how many times do you use a tablet for photos. Get a camera, they shoot WAY better pictures, believe me. Since I don’t have the 4g model I wont review it, but it is faster. I barely noticed a difference with the A5X chip, so I also believe its a sort of a hype also. I give it 5 stars since it is still leagues ahead of any android tablet on the market.

The two most important features as compared to the iPad 2 and the new iPad are the amazing resolution and this speech to text dictation.
I am now using the dictation to write this review and it seems so much better than Nuance Dragon Natural Speaking. Combined with the new resolution, which is much noticeably better than the iPad 2, it seems worth the upgrade. If you sell your iPad 2 you are only lose about $150; Apple products hold their value. Apple has created a system for apps, which makes which makes the new iPad available to download your current apps in four times the resolution; Web browsing and Kindle texts looks so much clearer on the new iPad. If you are a blogger or WordPress, Joomla or just an every day emailer there is no point in having a external keyboard for the new iPad. The voice to text dictation is a huge bonus.
Cons:
Although the front facing camera is adequate for Skype and FaceTime the resolution is not as good as other cameras for taking clear pictures. Although the backward facing 1080P camera may seem good on paper it is not as good as one would think. Like me, not many people use their iPad for recording videos anyway.
Like the iPad 2 the Wi-Fi antenna is not nearly as good as a laptop or desktop computer.
16 GB is really all you need, most people don’t even use half of the space. If you are a big traveler and have the money go with the LTE version, otherwise the Wi-Fi version is all you need.
I am in love with my new iPad, and am VERY, VERY happy with it. I recommend to all. 
It is truly incredible, and better than I ever imagined it would be.

Schwinn Airdyne Evo Comp Low Price Now – Click To See

2012 Airdyne Evo Comp Discount Price Review : The rating is for the bike itself and NOT the instructions for putting it together. It didn’t take me hours to put it together but it is quite clear that a good set of instructions was not a design team priority. After guessing which screws and bolts went where I had the bike up and running after less than an hour of assembly time.
The hardest time was identifying which small pieces were which. The pictures included in the instruction looked hand drawn by a high school freshman art student. With that off my chest I can whole-heartedly recommend this bike. It is solid, smooth, pleasing to the eye, relatively quiet, and very comfortable to ride. I thought I’d need to buy pedals with shoes straps but I haven’t needed that thus far. We still need to turn up the TV to hear if we are riding and trying to watch TV but it is not as loud as the big-wheeled Airdyne. The seat is easily adjustable so everyone in our family can quickly take their turn ont he bike.

Schwinn’s treadmill is very quiet and has a 3 hp motor, 12 mph top speed and numerous options like courses, heartbeat, built in fan, elevations, and much more.
Schwinn makes great bicycles, as I had several during my youth. Now, in my ‘elder’ baby boomer years, they make a great Treadmill.
